Complete your fuel shutoff valve installation with a high-quality JIC to NPT Straight Adapter. Designed to thread directly into a 1/2" NPT Mini Ball Fuel Shutoff Valve, these adapters make it easy to connect AN/JIC fuel plumbing while maintaining a compact, leak-resistant installation.
These fittings allow builders to adapt -6 AN (3/8" JIC) fuel lines to a 1/2" NPT port. They are an excellent choice for fuel systems on rock crawlers, Ultra4 race cars, prerunners, drag cars, muscle cars, hot rods, street trucks, and custom LS swap projects.
Manufactured from steel and built to SAE J514 specifications, these adapters feature a 37 JIC flare for a positive metal-to-metal seal and are rated for high-pressure fuel, hydraulic, and fluid transfer applications.
Whether you're plumbing a new fuel system or adapting an existing one, these fittings provide a clean, reliable connection between AN hose assemblies and NPT ports.
Includes:
(1) 3/8" Male JIC x 1/2" Male NPT (-6 AN) Straight Adapter

Tech Insight
Will this work with your 1/2" NPT Mini Ball Fuel Shutoff Valve?
Yes. These adapters are designed to thread directly into the valve's 1/2" NPT ports.
Can these fittings be used for fuel systems?
Yes. They are commonly used for gasoline, diesel, E85, oil, hydraulic fluid, and other compatible fluid systems.
Do these seal on the threads?
Only the NPT side seals on the threads using thread sealant. The JIC side seals on the 37-degree flare and should not have thread sealant applied.
Can these be used for hydraulic systems?
Yes. They are manufactured to SAE J514 standards and are rated for dynamic operating pressures up to 6,000 PSI.
