Tech Insight

7075 aluminum is significantly stronger than DOM steel and features natural memory properties. When struck against rocks or obstacles, the material flexes and rebounds instead of permanently bending, dramatically extending service life and protecting your suspension geometry.

This is the same reason 7075 is used in aerospace and high-load racing applications. Once you run aluminum links, you wont go back.
