Built for serious builders who need big-cubic-inch LS power in a ready-to-complete package, this BluePrint Engines GM LS Compatible 427 Crate Engine delivers 600 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque. The increased 427 cubic inch displacement provides strong low-end torque and broad power delivery for high-performance off-road, street, racing, and custom vehicle applications.

At the foundation is a high-strength LSX-style cast iron block featuring increased deck thickness, reinforced webbing, extended cylinder skirts, priority main oiling, and six-bolt mains. A forged rotating assembly combines a 4.125-inch stroke crankshaft, forged 6.125-inch connecting rods, and forged pistons for the durability required in high-load and high-horsepower builds.

BluePrint LS3-style aluminum cylinder heads and an aggressive hydraulic roller camshaft help the engine produce strong airflow and power throughout the RPM range. The base-dressed configuration includes a fabricated aluminum LS3 intake manifold, drive-by-wire throttle body, fuel rails, injectors, coil packs, water pump, retro-fit oil pan, and other essential engine components.

The ECU and wiring harness are not included, allowing builders to select an engine management package that matches their transmission, vehicle wiring, tuning requirements, and overall build.

• This engine requires a non-weighted flexplate or flywheel.
• BluePrint Engines recommends a torque converter with a stall speed of 2,200 RPM or higher.
• The included retro-fit oil pan is intended to fit many 19551995 GM front-engine, rear-wheel-drive V8 vehicles. Off-road chassis and custom installations must be checked for oil-pan and axle clearance.
• This engine is not intended for dry-sump applications.
• This engine is not intended for use in pollution-controlled vehicles.
• Final horsepower can be affected by the ECU calibration, air intake, exhaust system, fuel system, accessories, and other installation components.
• Verify throttle pedal, fuel pressure, transmission control, accessory drive, exhaust, cooling system, and wiring compatibility before installation.
