The Crane Axle GM 14-Bolt Steering Knuckle Builder Kit is designed to convert a GM 14-Bolt axle into a front steering axle assembly using proven Dana 60 kingpin geometry combined with Crane Axles REV14 Seal System. This setup gives builders the strength of a 14-Bolt center section while adding front steering capability for custom crawlers, competition buggies, and extreme off-road applications.
The system combines interlocking Dana 60 outer knuckles, chromoly inner Cs, keyed high steer arms, and a complete kingpin assembly package into a single builder kit. The included REV14 Seal System allows the GM 14-Bolt housing to be properly sealed for steering axle use, helping prevent contamination and gear oil leakage common in traditional front-steer 14-Bolt conversions. All major components are cast and machined in the USA from 8620 chromoly steel for improved durability, weldability, and resistance to fatigue under extreme off-road use.
