The Radflo 2.5 DRT Internal Bypass Coilover combines race-proven internal bypass technology, remote reservoir performance, and dual compression adjustability into a single compact package. At the heart of the system is Radflo's proprietary RST Dynamic Ride Technology (DRT), which combines both velocity-sensitive damping and position-sensitive damping within a single shock absorber. This allows the suspension to remain supple over small chatter, roots, rocks, and bumps while increasing damping force deeper into the travel for superior control during larger impacts.
Unlike traditional coilovers that force all fluid through the piston throughout the entire stroke, DRT shocks utilize internal circuits that allow fluid to bypass the piston in specific travel zones. The result is increased small-bump compliance, improved traction, enhanced ride comfort, and a noticeably more controlled suspension feel across varying terrain.
Combined with a remote reservoir and available dual high-speed and low-speed compression adjusters, the DRT Internal Bypass Series delivers race level performance for rock crawlers, Ultra4 vehicles, prerunners, Jeeps, trucks, UTVs, and custom off-road builds.

Tech Insight
A standard coilover generates damping almost entirely through the piston and shim stack. An internal bypass shock adds additional fluid pathways that change damping force depending on where the shock is in its travel. This allows a smoother ride over small bumps while providing significantly more support during larger impacts.
External bypass shocks use visible external tubes mounted to the shock body. Internal bypass shocks create similar damping zones inside the shock itself.
