A wonderful heirloom originating with the late Alice Gosselin of Dorchester, QC who grew this special variety for many years. Her nephew gave 5 seeds to Antoine dAvignon in 1995 who was then a representative and founder of Seeds of Diversity in Quebec. Antoine then grew the seeds and began offering the variety through Seeds of Diversity. Tante Alice is a very impressive large cucumber that is easily digested, has a wonderful aroma and taste and is resistant to many diseases and insects. Highly recommended! 65-70 days
