The WOD Radiator Mount Brackets are built specifically for the WA04070 27.5" x 15.5" x 3" dual pass -16 AN radiator combo unit. Originally developed for custom off-road chassis builds, this cradle-style mount is also a strong solution for many custom motorsports applications where a compact radiator and fan package needs to be mounted solidly, protected, and easy to service.

The top and bottom cradles wrap around the shroud and support the cooling combo package without mounting through the radiator core. That gives builders a stronger and cleaner foundation than trying to hang the radiator directly from the core, shroud, or loose tabs. The kit is laser cut and formed from .100" thick mild steel and ships raw so it can be welded, modified, painted, powder coated, or tied into the chassis however the build requires.

Tech Insight

Mounting a radiator in a custom off-road chassis is one of those jobs that can get messy fast. Every buggy, Jeep chassis, rear radiator setup, front radiator setup, and tube chassis layout is a little different. This kit gives builders a purpose-built cradle for the WA04070 cooling package so they do not have to start from scratch with loose tabs and guesswork.

The top and bottom cradle system wraps around the matching fan shroud and supports the radiator combo package without drilling through or mounting directly to the radiator core. That helps reduce stress on the core area and gives the builder a stronger structure to tie into the chassis. In hard-use off-road vehicles, that matters because vibration, chassis flex, and rough terrain can create problems when a radiator is mounted poorly.

The raw .100" thick mild steel construction makes the kit easy to weld to, modify, tab from, or build around.
